TYR
FAN FIC CHALLENGE IS CLOSING
All right, I'll admit it -
I'm not much for contests and even worse at administrating them.
So admitting
my faults and my failure I have closed the challenge page. For the first
challenge there was only one entry, so Karen's Second Chances was selected
the winner as the sole entry.
For the second
challenge I'm afraid the jury system turned out to be a complete failure
- I couldn't find enough jury members. I hoped for a long time that this
would change, which resulted in hopeful and misguided e-mails to several
people. For this I apologise and I'm sorry I can't offer a good explanation.
My pride simply got the best of me and I was not ready to publically display
my failure. My next mistake was in ignoring the fact that the challenge
had failed and like an ostrich, stick the head in the sand and never take
it up again. Once more, I managed to hurt people, which has taught me
a valuable lesson.
So, here I
am, finishing up unfinished business that should have been cleared up
a long time ago, but that I was too scared to do, by declaring a tie between
the two entries (which I must say was a surprise to me and struck me as
very innovative stories on the subject. Both of them deserve to win and
most of all, their authors deserved an answer more than a year ago.

Would the others friendship and Teaspoon's influence change him or her?
Or what if one of them succumbed to a life of crime after the ending of
the Express?
